Regeneration Precedes Faith

Regeneration is to be born again, to be made alive. This is not produced by faith but by the sole act of God independent upon anyone or anything outside of God’s will. This spiritual birth produces spiritual ears and eyes that we may freely receive the things given by the Spirit of God. 1 Cor. 2:12. Since Faith comes by hearing (spiritual) then ears are needed (Spiritual). Also according to Christ, one must be born again (regenerated0 to see (Spiritual) the Kingdom of God. It is by this faith that we are justified.

1.) To affirm a truth is to deny the opposite.
2.) To affirm Faith proceeding regeneration is to deny regeneration preceding faith.
3.) If an affirmation is made then there is no ignorance of the mechanics.
4.) This determines the position of faith, either in one’s own faith or in the meritorious work of Christ.
5.) Many Christians are ignorant of the mechanics of this so they have never affirmed nor denied either.
6.) NO Christian will deny regeneration preceding faith. I am NOT referring to any ISMS, i.e. Calvinism, Arminianism, Pentecostalism, etc.
7.) No ISMS were deemed as unregenerate in this.

God is so holy that even the angels can not look upon him, they cover their faces Isa. 6:2…God can only be looked upon by one as Holy as himself.. Man must be made His Righteousness. This is only possible if His righteousness is imputed. The fall was necessary for this accomplishment since no created being can be God and God is not a part of His creation. Holy means to be separate, other than, a cut above, not a part of. God can have nothing to do with sin, he will not listen to it nor look upon it in fact He turns His back to it. 2 Thes 3:2 says that not all men have faith. Hebrews 11:6 says without faith it is impossible to please Him. Romans 10:17 says faith comes by hearing (spiritual). Romans 14:23 says ANYTHING not of faith is sin.

No man can come to Christ unless he is drawn. To affirm that God accepts the decision of an unregenerate man (no faith) is to deny the Holiness of God. It says that God is not so Holy that He will not accept the decision of a wicked vile unregenerate man, a man that God neither looks upon nor hears. Christ cried out, “My God, My God why have you forsaken me.” (Matt 27:46) Because He was made to be sin for us that we might be made the Righteousness of Christ. God turned away from His Son that WE may look upon God face to face in Holiness. Something that even Moses was not allowed to do Exodus 33:23. This should cause us to fall on our faces before a Holy God and cry out as Isaiah did, Isa 6:5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

Faith is absolute (100%). We can not affirm faith in the meritorious work of Christ and then in our decision as a wicked vile ungodly man. You can not affirm both views.

The Holiness God tells us that He is not a part of His creation and we are not a part of God. IMO the the ‘church” has lost its concept of God’s Holiness. I see men who profess they are regenerate and yet they can attack the Holiness of God so easily. Christians should affirm truth and deny the opposite instead of giving those who deny the truth, a pass.

By the way, truth is not based on how good of a person Aunt Matilda was. I am not responisble for the implications of truth. I have loved ones also and I will speak the truth to them as opposed to easing their conscience. To many this sounds cruel. Is it?
